WhatsApp Web Application, Every smartphone user today is well aware of what WhatsApp is, and how it makes it easier to keep in touch. However many people might not know about WhatsApp web. In order to provide the users with a better communication experience, WhatsApp was made accessible to computer owners through the WhatsApp web. It basically is an extension of the WhatsApp account on your phone so you need not create an entirely new account. The messages sent and received are synced between both devices, which makes it easier for you to access them.
WhatsApp Web Business Services
WhatsApp Web Application was launched in January 2015 and was earlier limited to the following platforms Android, Windows Phone 8.1 and 8.0, Nokia S40 EVO, Nokia S60 and Blackberry 10, and other blackberry smartphones. The only major mobile platform left out was the iOS that was until this week. WhatsApp web has finally been rolled out to users running any iOS versions above 8.1. When launched, WhatsApp claimed that the WhatsApp web will not be available for iOS devices. The reason for the unavailability of WhatsApp web for iOS users were some platform limitations by Apple, which have been overcome eventually.
The thing to note about this latest addition is that although your messages get mirrored on both services, WhatsApp Web iPhone is in no manner identical to its smartphone counterpart and there are multiple features that are available only on the mobile version. However, the recent update has promised to give users more control over their group conversations and messages. Other additions include the ability to edit the status and profile picture, along with some interface modifications. The interface also allows the user to archive or delete certain chats by going to settings. You can also exit, archive, or mute any particular group chat. WhatsApp web also allows you the facility to mute any individual chat, or mark a conversation as unread or read. Also, you get to backup any location sharing or video data. The web version allows for auto-loading older messages while providing better support for voice messages. There were some privacy concerns associated with the WhatsApp web, which are yet to be addressed.
Since this feature is new for every iPhone user it would be helpful if we can provide you with some quick steps to access all the features of the WhatsApp web. Make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp available in order to access this feature.
